Castle crashers ps3 damaged1/16/2024 NORMALLY, if you are level 13(the EARLIEST you can max ONE stat completely if you ONLY upgrade it and ONLY it) you would do something around 28damage with NO help from a sword or animal orb So even IF you dont max your strength, a level 1-9 cahracter still has potential to do MORE damage then a 99cahracter, it is, if that 99 doesnt upgrade strength. Level10-(without upgrading your strength) 5strength But both 99 and 79 have bragging rights to a level 1, as well as any skull has bragging rights to someone with no skull.Ī LOT of this infromation is HIGHLY INaccurateĮvery TEN levels you gain ONE strength. Level 99 can brag more than a level 79, just like someone that has beat insane mode and has a gold skull next to their character can brag more than a regular white skull(when you beat the game the first time). His HP is also 1066, and a level 79 with +7 defense with a weapon, and +5 defense with a pet, for a total of +12 defense, still has less HP.Īnother difference is also bragging rights. My level 79 does about 72 magic throw damage, my level 99, with the same weapon and pet, his damage with throw magic is 74. Things such as combo damage and % of critical hits will increase by going above level 79. The only difference is your HP will continue to go up by 3+ points every level, and apparently other attributes will rise as well, although it's not visible in the Player Statics menu. How can this be? Most, if not all on the leader boards are boosted (look above) in Insane Mode. Although, all the leader boards show level 99's on top. Look for more on Castle Crashers for the PlayStation 3 in the months to come. You max all your abilities at level 79. A straight port of the Xbox 360 game would be a lot of fun, but we're hopeful that the PS3 version might also benefit from some additional content. From the look of things, Castle Crashers should be a good addition to the PlayStation Network library. The action is smooth and responsive, and the colorful visuals look as crisp as ever. The best we could get out of them was that they're working to get the game out as soon as they can and that development is going well.Īs far as how the PS3 game looks and plays, the demo we checked out was already running well and certainly looked to be on par with the Xbox 360 game. The air of mystery also extends to the game's release date, which the team is keeping quiet about for the moment. The Behemoth isn't offering much in terms of information on exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 game beyond saying that it's still to be determined. Castle Crashers looks set to make a splash on the PS3.Īll of the above is on its way to the PlayStation 3, with the appropriate tweaks, such as trophy support, for Sony's platform. As a bonus, The Behemoth also included an arena to fight with friends and a food-gorging minigame. The result on the Xbox 360 was a fun game that got even better when you played cooperatively with friends online. The game takes a light action role-playing approach to the head busting by letting you earn experience and level different stats on your knight, such as strength, defense, agility, and magic. The road to rescue sends the knights up against hordes of enemies, but with teamwork, a little help from their animal friends, a variety of different weapons and magic, and some leveling up, a happy ending is guaranteed. By clicking 'enter', you agree to GameSpot'sįor those of you who aren't already familiar with the game, Castle Crashers follows four knights as they head out to rescue their respective special ladies, who've been princess-napped (a common problem in games).
